The HYTE THICC Q60 240mm Digital ARGB LCD AIO Liquid CPU Cooler – Black/White is a high-end, design-focused 240mm liquid cooling solution built for users who want extreme aesthetics, advanced monitoring, and surprisingly strong cooling performance in a compact form factor.
At its core, the THICC Q60 uses a 240mm radiator, but it is far from a standard AIO. HYTE designed it with an oversized “THICC” structure that includes a much thicker radiator than typical 240mm coolers, helping it push cooling performance closer to higher-tier 280mm and even some 360mm-class coolers in certain workloads . This makes it especially appealing for high-performance gaming CPUs and productivity workloads where stable thermals matter.
One of its most distinctive features is the massive 5-inch LCD display on the pump/block unit. This screen is essentially a mini smart display powered by an internal processor, capable of showing real-time system stats like CPU temperature, usage, fan speeds, or fully custom content such as GIFs, animations, wallpapers, and videos. It connects through HYTE’s Nexus software ecosystem, giving users deep customization and monitoring control directly on the cooler itself .
Cooling is handled by high-performance FP12 ARGB fans, which are notably thicker than standard 25mm fans. These fans are engineered for high airflow and strong static pressure, helping the radiator maintain efficient heat transfer even under sustained CPU load. Despite the powerful cooling potential, HYTE also tunes the system for low-noise operation, especially in balanced or performance profiles.
The design philosophy of the Q60 is heavily “premium showcase.” The black/white variants are paired with clean ARGB lighting accents and a futuristic aesthetic, making it a centerpiece in glass-panel PC builds. The tubing and fittings are also designed to complement modern themed setups rather than just blend in.
However, it is important to understand its trade-offs. The Q60 is bulkier than typical 240mm AIOs, and its radiator + fan thickness can create case compatibility issues, especially in compact mid-towers. It is also more expensive than many 360mm coolers, meaning part of what you are paying for is the LCD display and ecosystem rather than pure cooling per dollar.
