The DeepCool LE500 240mm LED Liquid CPU Cooler is an entry-to-mid range 240mm all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooling solution designed for users who want better thermal performance than stock air coolers without stepping into expensive premium AIO territory.
Built under the DeepCool lineup, the LE500 focuses on efficient cooling, simple LED aesthetics, and reliability features rather than advanced customization like LCD displays or full ARGB ecosystems.
At its core, the LE500 uses a 240mm aluminum radiator paired with two high-performance 120mm PWM fans. These fans are designed to generate strong static pressure and airflow, allowing the radiator to effectively dissipate heat from modern CPUs. According to official specifications, the cooler is rated for around 220W thermal dissipation, making it suitable for mainstream to moderately high-performance processors.
The pump unit features an enlarged copper cold plate with micro-channel water flow design, which improves heat transfer efficiency between the CPU and liquid coolant. It operates at around 2400 RPM with low noise levels (~17.8 dB(A)), helping maintain quiet performance during light workloads while scaling up under load.
One of its key reliability features is DeepCool’s Anti-Leak Technology, which is designed to regulate internal pressure changes caused by temperature fluctuations. This helps reduce long-term stress on the sealed liquid loop and improves overall durability—an important consideration for users new to AIO cooling systems.
Aesthetically, the LE500 uses a simple LED lighting system (non-addressable in most variants), giving the pump block a clean glow rather than full RGB effects. This makes it a good match for users who prefer a subtle look instead of flashy lighting setups.
Installation is straightforward, with broad compatibility across modern Intel and AMD sockets, including LGA1700 and AM4/AM5 platforms. The mounting system is designed for even pressure distribution to ensure consistent CPU contact and stable thermals.
In real-world usage, the LE500 performs well for CPUs like Ryzen 5/7 and Intel i5/i7 (non-extreme models). However, for very high-end CPUs (such as i9 or Ryzen 9 under heavy sustained loads), it can be near its limits compared to stronger 360mm AIOs.
