The ID-Cooling FROZN A620 Pro SE ARGB is a high-performance dual-tower air cooler designed for gamers, PC enthusiasts, and workstation users who want near high-end cooling performance without moving to liquid cooling. It is one of ID-Cooling’s strongest value offerings, combining a large heatsink structure, dual-fan airflow system, and ARGB lighting in a compact 157mm-height design.
At the core of the cooler is a dual-tower aluminum fin stack, which significantly increases surface area for heat dissipation. This design allows heat to spread efficiently across both towers, improving cooling stability under sustained CPU loads such as gaming, rendering, or heavy multitasking. The structure is supported by six high-performance 6mm copper heat pipes, which use direct contact with the CPU base to rapidly transfer heat into the fin array. These heat pipes are engineered for efficient thermal conduction, helping the cooler achieve a rated capacity of up to around 260W TDP, making it suitable for modern high-performance CPUs.
The CPU contact base is made from copper with a smooth finishing surface, ensuring strong thermal contact with the processor. This improves heat transfer efficiency and helps maintain lower CPU temperatures even during long gaming sessions or CPU-intensive workloads.
Cooling performance is handled by two 120mm PWM fans, designed to deliver a strong balance between airflow and static pressure. The fans operate in a speed range of approximately 300 to 2000 RPM, automatically adjusting based on CPU temperature. At full speed, they provide up to around 58 CFM airflow, which is strong enough to push air effectively through the dense dual-tower fins. Despite its performance, noise remains controlled at a maximum of about 27 dB(A), making it relatively quiet for its category.
A key highlight of the FROZN A620 Pro SE is its ARGB lighting system, integrated into both fans. The lighting connects via a standard 5V 3-pin ARGB header, allowing synchronization with major motherboard ecosystems such as ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and ASRock Polychrome. This enables full customization of lighting effects, making it suitable for modern themed gaming builds in black, white, or snow editions.
The cooler also uses a hydraulic bearing fan system, which enhances durability and ensures smoother long-term operation compared to older bearing types. This contributes to lower wear over time and stable performance during continuous usage.
In terms of size, the cooler measures approximately 157mm in height, which is important for case compatibility. This makes it compatible with most mid-tower PC cases while still being compact enough to avoid extreme clearance issues. However, like most dual-tower designs, RAM clearance may depend on the motherboard layout and fan positioning.
